"Les chambres dans la dépendance ont une jolie vue, sont très tranquilles et propres. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans un cadre magnifique. La plage est toute proche et à l’ombre, pensez à prendre des chaussures. Nous avons eu un problème dans la chambre qui a été réglé d’une main de maitre par la directrice, merci beaucoup à elle. Je vous conseille le restaurant du camping en haut pour le midi, incroyable. Le dîner du soir était très bien pour le prix et nous avons apprécié la terrasse....

"The room was comfortable but small. The air conditioning was minimally acceptable. It was probably 22 degrees in the room the whole time. It’s incredible that they don’t a shuttle to and from the port so instead you have to walk a steep hill."

Le Meridien Lav, Split

"We can highly recommend the Le Meridian hotel outside Split on the beach. Be aware that it is a good 20+ minute ride out of town. That being the case, don't get into a cab unless you negotiate in advance the price of the trip. We were conned into a cab ride from the marina and the driver tried to charge us 75 Euros to get to the hotel. We were saved by the terrific hotel doorman, Mike, who seems to know everyone and was very helpful in fending off this cab driver. We eventually found a wonderful cab/uber driver who was fare and efficient. We used him for all our travel after that. I will list his contact at the end of this review. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. We cannot say enough about everyone who worked there. We also liked the restaurants at the hotel - good food and very well run and managed. The only objection we had was access to the beach which was through the reception area and the strange way they monitor the beach and the beach towels. They do not want people traipsing through the lobby of the hotel in bathing suits, but it is hard to dodge the reception area because of the location of the elevators to the pool and beach area. We highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you love the beach and want to get away from the busy city area. Great Driver , Jurica (spelling?). - Taxi Eagle Jo - +385 98 561137"

"Beach was beautiful. Limited shaded area. Pool water was murky, so we did not use it. Staff refused to check us in before 3pm official check in time. Hotel needs so sprucing up. A 4 star hotel with a flimsy shower head and musty carpets in the hallways of the annex building is not ok. Also, if you’re eating on site, prepare to get gauged.. prices are exorbitant."
