The decor in the lobby is fantastic! They preserved the elegance of an older hotel with a refreshed & modern twist. They preserved the staff was very nice and helpful, room was comfortable. Coffee shop is funky. Would stay again.

The hotel is central to downtown making location beneficial to a lot of night life, restaurants, event center etc…. However from a traveler who has stayed at other graduate hotels before and simply due to age of the building (older tv/tech, musty smell in building/varying water pressure), we expected better quality for what we paid. It did not match up to our expectations. There wasn’t anything actively wrong, it just simply was not a four star hotel.

The room and staff were great. Unfortunately the street noise at night is unbearable: screaming and yelling, vehicles driving by with bass bumping and motorcycle street take-overs where engines are revved until the wee hours. Also, police cars drive by chirping their sirens periodically to disperse revelers and the homeless. Its a great old property, but I can't recommend it to anyone wanting to get a good night's rest.

Clean and unigue. Love the history of this hotel and the location downtown. Staff was nice. Used the hotels parking garage which was easy. Visited our niece attending RISD and it was walkable. Would stay here again if in the area.

I wish the spa was open, but it was under renovation 😭 Entire staff was very polite and helpful, would definitely come back. Something that I think would be useful but not essential — indoor slippers. Would be nice to walk on the cold tiles with something warm after a shower or just while lounging in the room.
