We had a great time staying at Rich and Julie’s place. The design and layout is so thoughtful and in a perfect spot to enjoy the harbor. There is an entrance to Acadia about 5 min away and it leads you to the more quite side of the park which was wonderful. Rich and Julie provide a full list of things to do, places to eat, and everything you could possibly need to know to plan your trip. We would stay at their place again.

Beautifully curated in such a quaint location! Many VRBOs are nice enough in convenient places, but THIS place is special. The furnishings and decor give a European simple elegance, but the spot is SO Maine! We enjoyed the few local spots and proximity to nature…truly fantastic place to unplug for a while!
View from the back door, tide coming in.
Best ice cream around!
View at low tide.
Live music every Tuesday was lovely! The foods and brews were too.

A charming, quiet property in an awesome location. We biked to Schoodic point from the house. We found nearby Tunk mountain a great hike! The house is uniquely decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked. Handy reference books help acquaint visitors with everything the area has to offer. Although we were completely comfortable during our stay, the set up may not be practical for all ages (spiral staircase and bathroom located downstairs from sleeping loft). Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cute little house away from the Bar Harbor mess. Host clearly loves the area and provides a wealth of useful information. House is immaculate and in like new condition. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. Only negative is the the two stair cases are steep and would not be a good choice for someone with limited mobility.

Such a gorgeous spot to enjoy what the schoodic peninsula has to offer. Incredible location. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very punctual with their responses. An easy drive to Acadia national park. Could let recommend this place enough

This was by far the nicest home we've stayed in in Maine... and we have stayed in many. It was lovely, comfortable, spotless, updated, and charming! You can tell the owners spent a lot of time making sure the home was appointed with all of the right things to make your stay relaxing and just like home. Thanks for a great stay!

What a fantastic property. Peaceful part of Acadia, right on an estuary. Super clean, thoughtfully supplied, and beautifully curated design. I visited with my husband and adult son, and we were comfortably situated for almost 2 weeks. Nice low-key local eateries, plus a ton of great recommendations for things to see and do from our host!
