"Let’s start with the host, Ana. She was exceptional as a host and her home made fresh bread and goat cheese were a treat! Her rental unit was fantastic, a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath stone house on a hill overlooking a mountain!. The upstairs patio and the 1st floor patio and jacuzzi made our stay that much better! This is a small community of 42 people and everybody was friendly. The local café was a few steps away. The owner of the café even showed us the council hall with a huge, and I...

"We specially liked the quality of our tent, it was very comfortable and a great experience. Also we liked the pool area although not so big. Little bit less space in the shadow. Restaurant was also good with different menus in the evening. Only few staff members were able to speak English, should be almost a must…"

"Superbe endroit calme et typique du Portugal. Les hôtes sont très accueillant ! Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Les véhicules sont stationné à l'intérieur de la propriété. Muito obrigado para voces"

Tomar or Coimbra is just 30 min drive and provides the option for a nice day trip. We can...

We came to the area to visit family, without that we would have never known about it. I would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the real Portugal. One last mention would be for Manuel, his attention to the property from making sure we had everything we needed, watering the grounds everyday. He’s a real...

"Was only there overnight so hard to judge really. There's a grocery very close, some restaurants and cafe's nearby and the train/bus station is just a 10 minute walk away."
