"Reception kept disappearing,bar tender had to called by receptionist! Public toilets in bar female out of order ,male dirt all round skirting board ,pipes on the ground for some reason dirty bathroom all in all ,Bed mattress needed replacing springs coming through not a good night sleep at all ,would not recommend,also pint of larger £7.50 ! Even more expensive than most London bars "

"Fantastic team. Food ok. Not that much choice but fresh and tasty. Breakfast ok. Not vast choice, but enough to fill you up. Spa etc very good. Beautiful building. Spacious bedrooms "

"The apartment was perfect for us. The access info was given to us days ahead of time. It was clean and spacious and it was nice to relax and watch a movie on a TV that worked. We would definitely recommend this lovely apartment."

"It was an amazing stay. Really enjoyed staying at Matties Loft. Accommodation included all the facilities you would standardly require and more on a trip and was super clean. Host was really great and friendly, we felt welcomed. Should mention that our dog also really enjoyed the trip also as we took advantage of the lovely countryside walks and beautiful scenery. We would stay again :)"

"Our stay at Josie’s Snug was so perfect and exactly what we were looking for/needed! Adam was really helpful with communicating up to our stay and Jenny could not do enough to make sure our stay was complete when we forgot a few bits! We took the train in and grabbed a taxi up which was no trouble. The additional touches of croissant and jam and bathrobes were very welcomed. The hot tub was incredible. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. And the lake - what can I say? It was the highlight of our trip - pristine water and grounds offering a refreshing swim on warm days. This is just the perfect getaway if you’re looking to switch off from city life. We will definitely be back again."

"The property is fairly spartan and is a bit overpriced if clean. It was not. The entryway smells of regurgitated beer and the blanket for the pull out sofa clearly bore evidence of a nocturnal accident. Overall not awful, but not nice, and certainly not worth the price. We only stayed one night and relocated to the Marriott which incidentally was about the same price and pristine. "
