"5* experience .. excellent newly finished hotel in a convenient location for exploring Dubrovnik. Service was excellent, wonderful bar, restaurant areas and amazing rooftop pool area with sea view. Breakfast was buffet style, perfectly presented with every option imaginable. Excellent quality. We opted for the deluxe room with partial sea view, definitely worth the extra as the view was special, rooms were beautifully finished. The mini bar was not stocked but we did have bottled water replaced daily and turn down service with chocolate ☺️ We did not have time to use the spa but there were saunas (unsure if there is additional charge) treatments were pricey. I would absolutely recommend the Sumratin to friends & family and am sure it will have a reputation as one of the best hotels to stay in Dubrovnik once established. "

"Liked the location, 10 min and 10 euro to old city but much better than staying within the walls. Room with sea view important, also ask for high floor for the views. Great breakfast. Sea shore (sand and accessible) not realy..."

"Hotel staff was incredibly helpful, gave us early access to the whole property even though we arrived about 5 hours before check-in. Cleaning staff did a great job of making the room feel fresh and brand new each day. The room, the view, and the service were all phenomenal. Loved the breakfast spread but the coffee service can take a minute if you’re in a rush to get out and about in the morning. 100% recommend this spot if you’re looking to avoid the cruise boat crowds of the main city. Not a bad walk from here to the old city or to the Lapad area!"

"This place is amazing! It was my birthday whilst we was here, I didn’t tell anyone but when we came back from our day out we had a cake waiting for us when we arrived. Little things like that made our trip unforgettable. So clean and easy to get around and you don’t need to leave the hotel regards to breakfast and dinner wise as it’s all here. Was great to unwind in their bar and was soooo good. Would recommend"

"Basic but very clean, friendly staff and as a solo traveller it felt very safe . Breakfast had a selection but the hot food needs to be covered, as my egg was cold everyday . Even though this place is nestled out of the way , there are beach bars and restaurants around, beaches are lovely and the sunset fabulous . The hotel bar only took cash - which is frustrating! They could add least add on 50 cent to cover the fees, if spending under €10 or something .so i went elsewhere ! Lots of beaches in walking distance & buses on the top road or uber can be with you in 3-4 minutes , €8-12 takes you to cavtat or old city . The pool didn’t have water at this time of year - but even if it did, the area around it is derelict and not very pleasing on the eye ( even though the sea view is beautiful ) . There needs to be some refurbishment of all of the derelict buildings on the site. As you walk towards the pool take the road heading down this is a short cut to the other beach as google maps wants to take you to the top road a back down ?? Google maps doesn’t work for the buses here either … walk to the top of the hill where you turned in from the main road , near restaurant zupaho - bus both way is near to there. Friendly staff … but could do with some tidying up of external areas ."

"We had superior room with balcony and sea view. Lovely breakfast room / terrace and choice. Staff plentiful and friendly. Only used pool and wellness centre once (but was lovely) The private sun beds / each area looked nice but we were so busy we didn’t use ! Went walked into old town every day (around 20 mins downhill to Pile gate) also walked to Lapad and Gruz for boat trips. Such a great position if you don’t mind some hills (hills and loads of steps in Dubrovnik !) walls amazing, telecabine worth the trip. Lopud island and Cavtat great boat day trips. Lovely holiday"
