We don't know if this was done deliberately to prompt us to leave or if it was a coincidence. It was awkward and uncomfortable because we were still preparing for our onward trip (e.g. fill water bottles, showering, etc) "

The hostal was very clean, and the room in good order and comfortable. The tapas when we arrived was superb and very well priced.
