"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. "After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool."

"We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Le Mas des Papillons. The güte with several apartments is located on the top of a hill and looks out at one of Lot’s valleys. The owners are very sympathetic and helpful. The apartment was well equipped and if needed we could use other facilities as for ironing and washing. Unfortunately, we stayed in France a period of unstable weather, but there is a nice swimming pool at Le Mas as well as a room with games and sporting material which makes it a nice place...

"L'hÎtellerie est un vrai métier et c'est exactement ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé au Relais de la Poste à GOURDON. Le chauffage n'avait pas été enclenché de façon à ce que l'on rentre dans une chambre douillette. Certes il y a une télécommande mais encore faut-il prendre possession de la chambre quelques heures avant d'y dormir. Dans la salle de bains chauffage également au moyen d'une télécommande, sans notice et qui a priori fonctionne en minuterie. Donc mieux vaut se lever au petit matin...

"Friendly & modern reception, Budget rooms within a separate detached building, which were clean, with the car park alongside, plenty of onsite spaces, but not secure. Rooms modern & tidy, had a modular shower unit which worked fine, but overall bathroom looked a little tired, door to was a bi-fold, stiff to operate & rather squeaky, which could be slightly disturbing to many late at night."
