"ECCELSO hotel proved to be an good choice and a great find for us. It was clean, modern, very well air-conditioned during the 97-degree heat in Rome, within our price range, and wonderfully located in close proximity of St. Peter, the Vatican museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, many great shops and restaurants, and convenient transportation (including a taxi stand within two blocks). "This place was great! Small and quiet, with very kind helpful staff. The room and bathroom were both very nice and glad there was a mini fridge for our drinks! Only downside was being on the 6th floor you either had to walk all the way up or use old elevator. Would definitely book here again! In a great area too, able to walk to Vatican City in 10 minutes or less."
