"Staff were accommodating in every way and made us feel most welcome. Room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with many offerings of eggs, cold meats and cheeses, cereals & yogurts and breads and pastries. Wonderful fresh squeezed orange juice in a tasteful sun drenched room or an outdoor table on the terrace . Very nice public spaces and restaurant, where the food was quite good for an enjoyable dinner. There was bistro service during the day and bar service/bar menu, as well . We didn't take advantage of the pool with the cooler November weather, but outdoor space was inviting. A short drive into Tavira with easy free parking at all hours allowed us to enjoy this beautiful city. Close to Cabanas and easy drives to other towns in the Algarve via the A22. All this for an almost embarrassingly low cost. Well worth it."

More than willing to answer questions about where things were in Tavira, how to get there, made sure we had everything we needed, greeted us with a smile every time we saw her at her shop next door to the rental. The historic house is in a fabulous central location but is quiet and private because it is off the street. We had everything we needed. Beautiful home with a fabulous garden. We could have stayed here much longer and been very content! I’d love for it to be “my little secret oasis” to come back to again and again! "
