"Good parking and the host was there and most helpful . A clean and presentable cabin with all needed for a short stay and base to travel Cornwall. Bit limited on the cooking front but enough for tea/coffee and toast and anything from the Fridge. Microwave not used by us. All in all happy stay."

"Katie and all her staff are friendly, polite and funny, it was like walking into your friend's house and staying overnight with the added benefit of excellent food and good cider to top it all off, the welcome we received was warm and friendly from the moment we walked through the doors until the moment we sadly had to leave to continue our journey and Dawn on breakfast service was an absolute star and a font of all local knowledge. The rooms are comfortable, clean and ideal for resting after enjoying a few rattlers in the bar. There is nothing negative I can say about this amazing pub/hotel, we will most certainly be visiting again if we are ever back down in the area."

"Lovely clean place, friendly staff and fantastic rooms. Our room was quite warm but was supplied with a fan. Situated ideally on Porthleven harbour. A bit disappointed having to wait for an hour for food but the staff did apologise and gave us our drinks FOC as a way of an apology. Unfortunately, I’d passed being hungry so didn’t finish my meal. That said it would not stop me coming back as overall we had a fantastic stay."

"We had some wonderful days in Madlen‘s beautiful Orchard Barn. Everything was as described. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable. Madlen‘s folder with useful information was very helpful.Thank you for that wonderful accomodation - we recommend visiting Orchard Barn!"
Historical Churchtown House - Whole House

"We were so lucky to be able to rent this house. It was charming, clean, roomy, and cozy at the same time. The house is very private, with stone walls and wonderful plantings, next to the the churchyard.The town is very picturerest, overlooking the ocean with three restaurants (all wonderful) within walking distance of the house. Fortunately, the village is small and not commercial as tourists haven't found it yet. Which is just what we wanted. But it is just a short drive to many of the attractions Cornwall has to offer.If you are fortunate enough to be able to rent this wonderful house please don't hesitate. You will be glad you did. "
