"From our room,15, the view was spectacular. I could lie in bed and see the sun setting behind Porto Venere. It's an older property but generally well maintained. Staff are like a family and will do everything they can to make your stay a good experience, as long as you are respectful. "Great for our 3 night stay. The top floor apartment had everything we needed. Double bed. Sofa bed, bathroom with large shower, cooking facilities a terrace and a view between apartments of the marina. For drivers parking was right outside. For non drivers bus service every 30 minutes from La Spezia/Portovenere. Restaurants are so close. Host waa excellent phoning to make sure we weren’t lost on our arrival by bus and providing lots of details on how to get to places. "

"The room was spacious (triple) and well equipped. Away from the crowds, yet walkable to all places in Riomaggiore. Yes, it’s quite an uphill walk with luggage, but that is explained well during and after the booking with options available to transfer luggage. Do not follow google maps. Just walk straight up the road as you exit the tunnel (no stairs until you reach the place). So those who are rating this place lower for this reason should read the instructions carefully!"

Given that it is away from the city center, you will need to take taxis or rent a car to get to where you want to go.
