We had a great stay at this spot. We loved the fireplace heater inside, and the hot tub out back. Great visit to the Williamstown area to see our sons at college.

It is one of my favorite places to go but sometimes it is overcrowded and the people can be rude and rowdy. But the staff is fantastic they do a great job even with the crowds.

Pownal itself is a fairly typical small town in VT. For tourists to the area it is notable for its location between the Berkshires to the south and the Bennington area, with its historical attractions and skiing places to the north.

Bring everything you need. There are no shops for miles around.
