I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture .

Dominica is a beautiful place to visit. The people are warm and friendly. I, however would caution driving as the roads are narrow, winding and rough in some places.
