"Clean, quiet, and friendly staff! The view could have been better if there was not a big tree infront of the balcony obstructing the ocean view. The A/C was a big plus in the summer. The amenities looked great ( wish they were open later in the night after a long day of hiking, we did not have time to use them during the day) breakfast was very good. Lots of variety! Parking was ok."

"Lovely location and room sea view was spectacular over the rock pools which were lovely to swim in. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a packed breakfast/lunch when we had to head out early on tours. The roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely to relax in at the end of a packed day. Only downside is the infrequent public transport to Funchal so you will need to catch Bolts so end up pricey. If you have a hire car it’s an ideal location Loved this 5 night...

"Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. Very roomie but that situation didn’t allow us to sleep and we had put chairs and table by the door not that would have much but...
