"The property and grounds are lovely however the road/driveway getting to the property is very narrow and steep. And while we were there it was quite icy.The unit itself has a great open concept and is a good size; But could use a deep clean!! The wood stove is a nice touch this time of year however there was no wood available to us. There is only 1 outside light (at the entrance door) so walking to your assigned parking spot after dark was tricky. Other motion lights along the way would be...

"We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful inside and out. All staff were warm and friendly. The restaurant staff were excellent and more than willing to speak English for us. The accessibility to hiking trails completed a perfect stay. "

"Very private, very clean. The location is great - enough solitude but close to the city. It is very attractively furnished. I loved the stream nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped. A queen sized bed would make it perfect. "

Marie Pier is good at answering questions and replying to requests. Very old and historic building that is close to the amenities. Clean and well maintained. "
