"Pros: Beautifully decorated and spacious house for 2 people. Nice location with cafes and shops within walking distance and just a short drive from Sintra's historic city center."

"The location was perfect in the historic center near everything and the room was cozy and charming. The bed was comfortable. However, the carpet was not very clean and the bathtub was badly clogged and it took hours to get empty after a shower. We stayed there for two nights and the host promised to send someone to repair it, but it was never repaired, regardless our many messages and photographs of the problem. Not very pleasant in the heat of Portuguese summer."

"This location was great for walking to the palaces and close to restaurants and shops. However, we did find the building a bit damp feeling. Having the heat on helped, but without that, the bedsheets felt moist and cool. The courtyard and privacy was very nice."
