Shana by the Beach Manuel Antonio

"When I booked this vacation I was excited because the resort was located near Manuel Antonio and I could easily access many of the attractions in the area! I was also interested in a smaller boutique resort that would cater to the occupants no matter how small or big the request may be! Let me share that Shana by the Beach delivered 1000%! The room was a spacious oceanfront view with a full sized refrigerator..stove…microwave and dishwasher (not that these items were really used) 😜 Upon entering the room there was a bottle of wine on the countertop and a welcome placard on the king sized bed. When I booked I included breakfast in the package and it is a Buffet style breakfast with many offerings from rice & beans, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, omelette station and breads (toast, croissants & danishes). It gets the job done..so I felt it was a good call to include! The check-in/out was smooth and the staff were super friendly! There are golf carts available to take guests to their rooms, pool and restaurant areas of the resort. The larger pool was under maintenance and there was a 2nd pool to use. There is a daily happy hour that begins at 3p and drinks are 2 for 1…you gotta take advantage of that deal! The beach is located behind the resort…about a 10 minute walk through a trail (be aware you will encounter wildlife-lizards, snakes, monkeys 🐒 etc.). Please be prepared for the hike back to the resort…bring water shoes because it is rustic beach. Great Resort!"

"Hello, My wife and I stayed here for 4 days. The service was incredible, breakfast included , and they even upgraded our room. Would recommend anyone to stay here if they never have visited Costa Rica. The staff provided great service and recommendations. It felt like I was in the show White Lotus lol"

"Me gustó todo de este alojamiento, nos recibieron con una bebida refrescante ideal por el calor del lugar, las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y permiten descansar plácidamente. El desayuno con variedad y preparado al momento, muy rico, lo mismo que las otras opciones del menú. Se ubica a pocos minutos del parque nacional. Recomiendo el lugar sin duda alguna, volvería todas las veces a este alojamiento, no hablo solo por mi sino por el grupo de 6 personas que éramos."

"The house and property are amazing. We love to stay at unique properties and this was one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. Everything about the property was clean, perfect, and very inviting. We especially enjoyed the peaceful sound of the river on the property, the extremely unique design of the home built in the middle of giant boulders, and the jacuzzi inside the home. If you are on the fence about booking a stay here just book it. We will definitely be back."
