"This very cute, clean and charming hotel was located in a perfect place in the Douro Wine region. We chose it because we were visiting wineries. If you are looking for a view of the river, this hotel does not offer that. The proximity to the river is very close and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was delightful. We were very happy with our experience!"

"Not a 4 star hotel. Super dated old hotel and they don’t even try to maintain anything. When something breaks down, they don’t even try to fix it. We came into a hot room and the AC was not blowing, and they tried to gaslight me. Make me feel like I’m crazy. But we booked two rooms and the other room the AC was blowing just fine. They made it seem like we didn’t know how to use an AC and they did not change the room until the third time we asked. The balcony area looked really gross. Everything...

"If using the indoor pool, bring a swim cap and flip flops so you don’t need to purchase them. Otherwise, great stay just outside of Porto. We used Bolt to get around during our stay."
