"Great location, “private dock”, place was clean with exception of some beer bottles on the back deck. Hard to communicate with host. No ammenties, TV does not work, not much plates or glasses, and no soap or shampoo in showers. Beds were good and towels provided. Did have a small mouse pop up at the front door which is locked but no one minds an extra visitor right. I’d say not a bad stay but not as good as listing suggests. Book at your own risk."

The property was not just dated—it was filthy and appeared to have been neglected. Upon arrival, there were no kitchen cloths, no paper towels, and only a 2 half rolls of toilet paper with no extras provided. The cottage smelled strongly of cigarette smoke mixed with mould. "The place has everything you need for comfortable stay with clean big rooms and supplies. It is an Old Place with spacious and ample rooms. Doors needs some greasing and it would also help to have some light in the yard for evening. Overall experience was great."
