"This was a charming small inn with an authentic, vintage feel. Some of the details instantly transported me back to my childhood visits to my grandmothers house in Amherst NS. I think there must have been a certain Victorian decor style that was a bit specific to Nova Scotia. Anyhow, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and inviting. Breakfast was magnificent; we had blueberry cinnamon buns, an egg and vegetable dish and fruit parfait. You will not leave hungry."

"This was a great choice. The cottage was great. Clean, lots of room. The kitchen dining area was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Breakfast was very good as well. "Mike and Adele were excellent hosts making us feel welcome. Our room had a queen bed and a sitting area.with a coffee maker and mini fridge. There is a heated pool available for guests to use. Mike cooked a delicious hot breakfast for us. He recommended local attractions and places for hiking. We will definitely come back and stay longer on our next visit to the area"

"We had a lovely stay at The Farmhouse Inn B&B. We stayed in the Acadia Room, which was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The B&B retains many of its original antique finishes, adding so much charm, character, and warmth to the property. Emil and Vero are wonderful hosts. Emil provided us with numerous recommendations for sightseeing in the area, as well as suggestions for dinner—and he was absolutely on the money! The homemade breakfast was delicious, generous, and the perfect way to start the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend The Farmhouse Inn B&B to anyone visiting the area!"

"Very nice place in Canning. Very well kept place and lots of wildlife in the area. If I had to provide one recommendation - the bed was very hard and a topper would go a long way for us older people. Communication was excellent and the listing was accurate. The area is simply amazing and well worth the visit!!!!!"
