It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). "This was an amazing experience! First, the staff was amazing! From the check-in process, room cleanliness, and the breakfast/dinner services, all were positive experiences. The rooms were nice. The views were beautiful. We didn't use the pools, so we can't comment on them. I would highly recommend."

"A genuinely 5/5 experience! A beautiful and very well maintained property. More than enough facilities to enjoy your time without going offsite. Incredibly attentive and helpful team at the front desk (a shout out to Mattia for the cycling itinerary he put together for us) and restaurant. Top quality ingredients for the breakfast, and what a view for dinner!"

"A beautiful hotel in a lovely little town. The staff were amazing, so helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I didn’t use the indoor pool or spa facilities so can’t comment on them. The outdoor pool is across the road and up a steep hill, so great if you have a car but not so much if you are on foot! Overall a very good stay."

"Gorgeous place, amazing views. They overbooked dinner and we had a wait of 2 hours for our food to come out. Pool was amazing and there was two to choose from, one looked quieter. Main part of the building is 15th century, which was beautiful. Easy to find with google maps NOT Apple Maps. Plenty of parking."

"We really like this place. Pool was very nice and staff were mostly helpful. Its a pretty good location to visit multiple areas as well. Room air conditioner did an ok job upstairs in bedroom loft but struggled to keep it cool in the sitting area on main level. The view from the tower is awesome but its a climb"

"We spent a wonderful week at Borgo Scopeto and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It has everything you'd hope for from a luxury Tuscan retreat: beautiful historic buildings, immaculately kept grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere full of character. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive, and the food was consistently excellent. One of the biggest advantages is its location. Siena is only a short drive away - you can even see the city's campanile while having breakfast - so it was easy to combine days by the pool with exploring one of Tuscany's most beautiful cities (and, inevitably, a bit of shopping to keep our teenage daughter happy). A fantastic place to stay, and one we'd happily recommend."
