Freitas Paradise, a Home in Madeira

Freitas Paradise is a self-contained home in a rural setting near the town of Ponta do Sol, for two to four guests — it has a terrace with a jacuzzi, a barbecue and a sun deck facing the sea, ideal for sunrise and sunset.

The accommodation is approximately 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a bedroom with two single beds (90 × 200 cm), a living room and kitchen with a dining table, and two bathrooms.

Outside, it has a private balcony and terrace with a barbecue, a dining table, a jacuzzi and a sun deck. There is free parking on the property.

From the balcony you can see the first and last rays of the day's sun on the rock of the pier — a phenomenon that gave rise to the name Ponta do Sol, given by the Portuguese discoverers.

It also includes a refrigerator and freezer, a washing machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, fans, Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), a TV with international and children's channels, among other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The accommodation is in a rural area 115 m above sea level and 500 m from the town of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol lies in the south-west of the island, the area of Madeira with the best weather conditions.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurisilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.

The property has access to the main roads.

A car is recommended for this location, but there is a bus stop about 20 m away.

The parking area and the entrance to the property are shared, but the unit is self-contained.

There is a road nearby, with possible traffic noise, reduced by closing the windows.

Rural area, with insects and lizards naturally present.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
