"This is a unique property spread over several acres of vineyards. There are multiple units to choose from & we stayed in the cottage. This was a lovely independent stone cottage overlooking the sea with a loft bedroom, kitchen and living room. It was a very special stay during our time on Madeira & we can’t recommend it enough. "The hotel was beautiful, our ocean view room was great and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only downsides are that the hotel is far from Funchal and most other tourist landmarks/hiking trails, which is inconvenient. Also, there are a lot of hidden costs, like the poolside beds, laundry or spa services. Overall it was an amazing stay if you want to relax but if you want to explore the island I’d recommend staying in Funchal."
