تفاصيل مكان الإقامة

The Delaware Riverfront

  • This 2-bedroom riverfront apartment can comfortably accommodate a family of 4. It is set on over 2 private acres (and attached to several additional acres of public parkland), it is approximately 20 minutes from the Metro North Train, a 15-minute drive to Bethel Woods (Woodstock). It is just a 2-hour drive from NYC, as well. Additionally, we are attached to a small apple/pear orchard and ranger station (park) which we encourage guests to utilize as an additional amenity. lots of nearby hiking trails, winter skiing, canoe rentals, fishing, and swimming (on our property). This section of the Delaware River is especially good for fishing, swimming, and boating due to its deep waters and gentle current.
**Please note that there is now another rental unit on the same property. The spaces have no connectivity between them, but the outdoor bridge and water access points are shared. However, you'll have your private deck, fire pit, and BBQ. Please book here only if you accept and can respect the presence of other vacationers. ***
There are power outages that are semi-frequent in areas like this (a few times per year). Please be prepared, and we are not to be held responsible for them.

A perfect vacation!

Such a peaceful, beautiful home and property. Everything about The Coop made us want to stay longer. The house was well equipped, the beds comfortable, and the deck area was the best for sitting and enjoying nature's tranquility. I would definitely stay here again.

Very roomy interior, very charming and came well equipped in the kitchen. It was a little warm in the common areas since there was no air conditioning in that area and just had a dehumidifier to keep it comfortable. The exterior could use some cosmetic improvements. The outdoor chairs by the river were mismatched and had not been cleaned. The deck had also not been swept or treated in a while. The directions were a little unclear but once we found it, we could use the brown park signs on the highway to find the location.

The coop is a hidden gem and offers lovely rustic charm. Inside is spacious with good wifi, a large TV, board games, and historical books if you get stuck on a rainy day. There is AC in both bedrooms; though there isn't any in the living area, it wasn't an issue at all in mid-July. The Delaware River is visible from the back of the house and is just a short walk over the bridge.Outside features an absolutely beautiful, quiet, and calm section of the Delaware River, perfect for relaxing or fishing (with a license). There is also a grassy area to play ball, along with two firepits—you might want to bring wood, since poison ivy is present in a few spots. If you want to BBQ, you just need to bring charcoal. A BBQ, table, chairs, and an umbrella are provided by the hosts. The hosts really made this rental so warm, cozy and charming and the location provides peace and serenity.

Short vacation with Sam

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care put into the decor. We were provided with everything that we needed for day-to-day living.Mike and Veronica were awesome. The best part was that our dog Sam was able to run around and take in all the smells. He loved the river and did a lot of swimming. Would definitely recommend staying here to our friends.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location. We loved the aesthetics of the place. It was very roomy and comfortable. Great river access, not another house on site. We caught a bunch of fish. Mike & Veronica were great host. My son enjoyed meeting their chicken and turkey! We will definitely return.

Serene setting with beautiful view of the river

What a perfect place for my 11-year-old daughter, our dog, and me to get away from home for the weekend! Well-kept property with everything we needed to enjoy a few days in nature, without being too far away from civilization. It was a new moon the weekend of our visit so the stars were just incredible. Excellent communication and accommodation with the owner prior to the stay. We would definitely stay here again if we decided to return to the area. Highly recommend.
