"The hotel overall was okay, and I can see the company is trying to maintain the property well. Unfortunately, some guests seem to damage the rooms, which affects the overall condition. My first room had a broken balcony door, a bent nightstand, and a fridge that didn’t work. After I reported everything, the staff immediately moved me to an upgraded room with the same beautiful view and fully functioning amenities, which was excellent customer service.The staff was amazing, very helpful and kind, truly doing their best. However, the cleaning service was disappointing. Even after removing the privacy sign on day 3, my room wasn’t cleaned during my 7‑day stay. I had to change my own garbage bags, and the receptionist told me I needed to request cleaning at the front desk, which I didn’t love and even I notify this situation not action was taken.The room itself looked great, the bathroom was well maintained, and the view was spectacular. The pool was also in good condition. The restaurant didn’t offer cocktails, so we bought our own outside, I hope they add options like piña coladas in the future. The gym equipment was okay, but the ventilation and odor made it uncomfortable to use.Parking fees felt unusual, though I’m not sure if that’s standard in the area. For rooms with kitchenettes, a range hood would help with ventilation while cooking. Security needs improvement the back doors were unlocked,allowing anyone to enter, which is concerning."

"The room with balcony was very nice. The view of the ocean was amazing. Easy access to the ocean and nice pool area. The parking was ok. You had to give your keys to the front desk if you parked behind someone. Daytona sure has changed though. Not the pristine area it used to be. Alot of homeless people. But overall I would stay at the boardwalk again."

"Check-in was very stressful. We arrived around 2:00 p.m. and were told our room wasn’t ready, but that they would call us as soon as it became available. We never received a call. At 7:00 p.m., I finally called the front desk from the pool and was casually told the room was ready. Our room also never received housekeeping service during our stay. When I called the front desk on our last day to ask about it, the only response was, “If you need towels, I’ll send you some now.” This was disappointing and not the level of service we expected from a Hilton property."

"Our stay was great! The room was spacious and very comfortable. We especially loved having a full-size refrigerator—it made our stay so much more convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The good: The room is very clean. The bed and pull out mattress was comfortable. The balcony was a perfect view of the ocean. The breakfast is delicious with many options for low calorie and some gluten free. The staff are extra helpful and very friendly. They quickly delivered anything we asked for (sheet set for couch, an extra pillow, and an extra bath towel). It's easy to check out pool towels. Both elevators were fast. This is our second year coming to this hotel on vacation. The one bad: We were there from Monday - Wednesday. When we arrived, the pool was filthy with sand, leaf litter, dead bugs, disintegrating tissues/paper, and feathers. It didn't smell or taste like it was well chlorinated. It was finally vacuumed on the last morning of our stay, so we never got to enjoy a clean pool. The foot shower is a harsh jet stream which makes washing sand off your feet painful so lots of people walk through the pool instead. Last year the pool was well maintained, so this was a major disappointment."
