"This place is really well equipped and clean, it has everything you need and more. Claire was very kind and welcoming. We loved how it’s dog friendly, you can use their beautiful garden to relax and let out your dog. It’s also very close to a nature reserve with a lake and a pretty walk through woods and meadows. Only a 10 minute walk to the local co-op and 15/20 mins walk to the beach. They also have parking for 2 cars if needed. Would happily stay again. Thank you Claire "

The cottage is very comfortable and the private grounds provide an easy short stroll by the river for us older ones. "This was the perfect place for my son and me to stay for a week, with beautiful scenery, stunning views, and complete peace and quiet that made it feel like our own private field. There was plenty of space for others to join with tents if needed, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, along with their lovely dog. We enjoyed the games provided and relaxing evenings around the fire pit. It’s also just a 10-minute drive to the closest beach, while still being within easy driving...

"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. Make sure you bring some milk/water with you, if your after a tea/coffee after that long drive down, think that was the only thing missing would be a...

"Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour. Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical! Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good). Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west...
