"Great room with beautiful view. Very nice amenities. Location may not be ideal for those wanting to be closer to Portree, but we planned for it so was not a problem. A bit pricey, but one of the nicest properties of the nine we stayed in across Scotland."

"The property has a lovely view of the water. It is convenient to the Isle of Skye and Kyle. It was clean, comfortable, nicely updated with a large modern bathroom, and included a wonderful breakfast. The only negative for us was the 5:00 check in time."

"The hostess was lovely. She sat with me and we talked a bit, she gave us great tips of food in the area and an event nearby as well. The property was lovely sat amongst the highlands, you can’t find a more lovely location. The food was delicious, nice clean property be the grounds were stunning."
Duisdale House Hotel

"We arrived late, they were just about to wrap up serving dinner. Manager said just sit at the bar - have a drink and eat your dinner first then we will take care of the luggages. They took our order and served us delicious steaks, wine and then helped us with our luggage. They did all this smoothly and naturally, which made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was great, not elaborately large spread, but enough of each category to meet our 10 veggie and protein intake targets effortlessly and delicately. Overall we couldn’t be happier and left very satisfied with the service, food and our clean, large cottage. If we come back to Highland Scotland we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone also."

"Very comfortable small hotel with character, Scottish character. A welcome change from the larger chains. Meals were excellent with a nice personal touch from the owners. I’ll make sure and stop in again if I am ever back to Scotland"
