"We had a very disappointing experience with this property and feel obligated to warn future guests.When we arrived, it was immediately clear the unit had not been cleaned from the previous guests. When we pulled back the sheets on the main bed, we found multiple types of hair under the sheets along with visible stains. Hoping it was just that bed, we checked the spare bedding, but all of it was also dirty, stained, and covered in hair.We pulled out the futon hoping it might be usable, but it was covered in dog hair and sand from previous guests. At that point it was obvious the unit had not been properly cleaned between stays. We also found both live and dead bugs in the unit.We attempted to contact the host and reached out to VRBO through their platform while we were there. After getting nowhere and realizing the property was not in a condition to stay in, we left after about an hour and booked a hotel instead.The next morning the hosts messaged us through VRBO agreeing to a 100% refund, but when we attempted to get the refund they denied it. Despite the written agreement, VRBO was zero help resolving the situation.The listing’s claims about cleanliness were misleading, the unit was clearly not cleaned between guests, and the hosts went back on their promise to refund us. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property."

"This unit and securing it through Expedia was terrific! We did a last minute rental which was much better than anticipated; very close to the ski hill, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated an early check in so that we could park and get out on the slopes! We hope to bring the grandkids next time!!!"

"My girlfriend, golden retriever and I all had a wonderful time here. The hosts were very nice, quick to respond, and helpful with suggestions in the area. The cabin was clean and cozy plus being able to taking our golden with made it all so simple and welcoming. And after a long day of skiing who can pass up a well-kept hot tub. For us, it was perfect for our ski trip to Boyne Mtn. "
