"Jacob was extremely helpful providing recommendations for things to do, places to visit and sightseeing adventures! He truly wanted to make sure our first visit to Alaska was memorable and fun! What a great host to have! Cabin is as described, cozy, comfortable and close to down town Fairbanks. Thank you so much, Jacob! We truly enjoyed ourselves!"

"Cute, simple, rustic Alaskan cottage just outside of town enough to soak in that Alaskan feel but close enough to be a good location for taking in all of the things Fairbanks offers. Ohh and the view into the valley below is fantastic! Martin and Laura are wonderful hosts and offer any help you need in planning, places to visit, things to do, etc! They even included some fresh eggs, bacon, and snacks to start the trip off right! On this trip, we were able to see eagles, moose, caribou, fox, a beaver and a porcupine while in the area. Also, I must mention if you’re the pioneering spirit, there is a public access creek only minutes away from Gilmore House to try your hand at gold panning! We didn't get rich but those colors in the pan were pretty exciting to see!Anyone wanting to have that classic alaskan stay with beautiful views, fresh air, and no traffic to simply relax, you should give this place a look!"

"Our host, Elke, was terrific! Prompt responses to meet our needs & comfort. The home was perfect! Well-equipped, clean, comfy, & inviting! The views are ah-mazing! We hit the snow mobile trails right from the house, chased the aurora, & Elke took us on a wonderful mushing adventure! Checked much off the bucket list here! HIGHLY recommend! "

North Pole Cabin Retreat

"A wonderful, cozy stay! The property consists of one building split into two rental cabins, but it still maintains a very quiet, secluded atmosphere. It’s conveniently located just 3-5 minutes from fuel, food, and shops. Nancy Peterson is an excellent host who provided clear directions and expert local advice the moment we booked. Thanks to her 'must-do' suggestions, we were able to plan our itinerary with ease. Highly recommended for a well-located getaway."

"This was a great home for our needs. The house was clean and very warm and had all the basic needs. As an FYI due to the ruralness of this property do not expect anything like extra kitchen or bathroom supplies left from previous guest like in most rentals. Be sure to take all those type of items with you. We would most definelty rent this home again."
