The staff offered to start the heater, which we accepted, and a box of wood was provided for self-servicing the fireplace. The gas heater turned off after 10 minutes cause the gas tank was almost empty. "Amazing all around. Really nice staff, hospitality was 10/10. It was clean everywhere: pools, beach, gym, elevators, stairwells, just everything was SPOTLESS. That’s a very big deal for me. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the food at the restaurants wasn’t outstanding for the price, especially compared to what’s available outside the resort. I spent $60 on lunch at El Mirador and all I got was a ceviche, one glass of wine, some bread and water. The ceviche was nothing to write home...

"Amazing hotel. Quiet and beautiful. Very relaxing place in a great spot next to the beach. Skip the Japanese restaurant (slow and expensive for what you get. Can’t even make a Martini. ;) The buffet is great. Very nice staff in the hotel. Would go back!"
