"Lacronan is of course a treasure, and, perhaps not unsurpisingly, is determined to keep cars out, even though there is a small hotel car park available for a few fortunate guests. Our route to the hotel, which is perhaps 200 metres from the central square, was barred by ongoing work to pedestrianise the area immediately adjacent to the hotel. Restaurant advertised as closed on a Monday so we booked elsewhere, but on our return we were surprised to see that the restaurant was actually open. This was not made clear, and was disappointing as we would have dined in the restaurant both nights of our stay had we known that it would be open.
