"Ok let’s start by stating the location is beautiful, the golf courses are superb, and the hotel grounds are lovely. The hotel seems very tired. Now this is my fault for kit checking but I guess when I’m paying £240 a night I didn’t really consider a hotel If this supposed stature did not have air con in the rooms, we’ll talk about uncomfortable, lack of sleep and irritated with my silly decision to stay there, I was amazed when I asked at reception to the response. "The location is great- a bit removed from the hustle of the tourist areas in Edinburgh but an easy bus ride in. Plus the neighborhood has great shops and restaurants. I love this hotel - always quiet and comfortable!"
