"This place honestly looks like it should be condemned. It was disgusting. The walls are peeling, there were 4 different types of flooring in each room, and the bedding and towels were stiff. I checked for bed bugs because the place looked so bad. I’m happy to report there were none. With each step we took, we were afraid our feet would break through the floor, it was incredibly squeaky and uneven. The outlets were inconveniently located. "Las fotos no se aparecen en nada al lugar que reservamos. Único hotel que he visto en Cusco que no provee Breakfast box para las personas que salen a los tours a las 4 am. La habitación estaba tan empolvada que no pude dormir de la alergia. Por último, le pedimos al chico de recepción que nos pidiera un taxi, que nos costó 20 soles cuando el trayecto era de 7 soles solamente. Según el, era el cargo del hotel! "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Ureta Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. What truly made my experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the staff. I had several early morning excursions that required me to leave before breakfast service began, and the team consistently went above and beyond by preparing packed breakfasts for me to take on the go. It was a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference during my trip. I also experienced some altitude sickness during my stay, and the staff were incredibly caring, attentive, and supportive. They provided helpful recommendations, checked in on me, and made sure I had what I needed to feel comfortable and recover. Their genuine concern for guests was evident throughout my stay. The combination of excellent service, thoughtful accommodations, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made my time at Ureta Hotel unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit such a positive experience. I look forward to returning in the future."

"Our stay at Casona Corrales exceeded all our expectations. Staying here felt like living in a historic Spanish mansion. The hotel is full of character: beautiful wooden interiors, vintage furniture & décor, and even original works of art, including a 17th-century statue of Saint Nicholas and a painting from the same period. Our room was stunning—spacious, cozy, and elegantly decorated with gilded details, red upholstery, rugs, and paintings. Despite the richness of the décor, it didn’t feel over the top. The room had reliable hot water and a modern heater, which was a lifesaver during Cusco’s chilly nights. Downstairs, guests can always enjoy a selection of teas, including coca and muña tea, as well as coca leaves and hot water to prepare their own infusion in a cup or thermos. Breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying: eggs, cheese, ham, avocado, and an impressive variety of fresh fruits. Yes, the wooden floors creak, and light sleepers may hear other guests walking around the hotel. However, this is part of the charm of staying in such a historic property, and it never bothered us. A special thank you to Harold, the night receptionist, we are truly grateful for his help. The hotel also keeps an oxygen tank available in case guests need assistance coping with altitude sickness. The location couldn't be better—just steps away from the main square and many of Cusco's most Instagram-worthy spots. We absolutely loved this hotel and would happily stay here again."
