"Bathroom was not clean. Had to call the front desk to send it to be cleaned. Dirty towels left from what I am assuming is the previous guest in the room. "

"We celebrated a 50th Wedding Anniversary and Mother's Day extended weekend at the Simply Southern Cabin and had a marvelous time! We were a large party of 12, and the home was perfect for our group. It had ample sleep space, kitchen, and space for visiting. The beds were comfortable, seating for all, excellent bathrooms, and the kitchen had all the pots/pans/cookware that are needed. The outdoor living areas include a front and back porch, and the two different fire pits with enough seating for our party. The home was clean, nice fluffy towels, and Lea Ann was fantastic to work with.The location is perfect for going to Pipestem State Park, a very short drive. We were able to go back and forth easily, enjoying all the park has to offer while also enjoying the comforts of home. Highly recommend this VRBO, it was everything we were hoping for and more!"

"The breakfast was very good 👍👍. There is a large mowed yard out front to walk the 4 legged members of the family. The area is very quiet with a Marathon fuel mart across the street. There is a new Burger King adjacent to the Marathon station. We ordered our supper from the Burger King and they delivered it promptly."

"Once upon a time I am sure this place was really nice. We stayed for a golf event, otherwise I would not stay here. We stayed in the executive suite area. The room was outdated and the pullout couch was very worn, torn, broken and uncomfortable. Our smoke alarm battery was old, so it was beeping. The buildings in general could use some upkeep. The room was very overpriced. "

"Everything was nice.we arrived early and wasn't allowed to check in till 4. So don't arrive early. Food was good and the bar was nice."

"We really enjoyed our time here. The cabin is cozy and inviting and the hot tub was a great way to end our day. Contact with the host was easy and check in went flawlessly. "
