"The room seemed clean when we checked in after midnight. It was late check-in because we were coming from a concert at Wind Creek casino and we drove from out of state straight to the concert. The bathroom was clean and spotless, a little run down and old-looking, but clean. The whole layout of the shower was odd with the see-through shower door overlooking the beds. Was it supposed to be a honeymoon suite? The bed was comfortable. The next morning I saw the carpet and it needed major vacuuming. There were crumbs everywhere. The bed sheet had crumbs and dried yellow rice at the bottom of the bed. I am thinking did they finish cleaning this room for the next tenant? The garbage bins had new plastic bags and there were new towels with toilette items in the bathroom. But it seemed they didn’t change the sheets nor vacuum at all. I was going to complain to the front desk when we checked out but he was busy talking with another customer so I just dropped off my key card. The stairwell needed new carpeting and new painting. It made the place look even more rundown. The one thing I have to say that made it worthwhile was the breakfast area and food. The layout was so nice and the food was good! The view from the breakfast area I can imagine it being pretty during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Even the staff was nice; Kiera was nice. I would’ve gave hotel 5 stars if not for the cleanliness of the floor in the room and bed sheets and the upkeep of the hotel. "
