"We had an excellent time at the Mikado. It was our first time to Costa Rica and it was probably one of our best holidays. Such a fun adventure. Lolo was an excellent host and if you do stay you must take advantage of her dinners. Incredibly romantic. The location is perfect. Quick drives to Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas and Playa Conchal. Great places to explore and then return to the peace and tranquility of the lodge. Absolutely perfect. "

"Cabins are clean and comfortable, especially the rooms with A/C to cool down after a day at the beach. Restaurant serves excellent meals for breakfast(included with the room), lunch, and dinner. Great location and value."

"Tony was so helpful and newly renovated super clean and very spacious and have kitchen but no stove . Better to have stove but otherwise everything is goods close to beach and other stores. We stayed 4 days and Tony help a lot for anything. Will book again if we go."

"Absolutely beautiful. Lots of onsite activities and it was really easy to plan excursions and trips into the more populated areas. The only thing that needs improvement was the food. Sabernero Steakhouse was delicious but all of the other food was extremely low quality for the price. Definitely expected way better for a resort of that caliber.
