"Not as bad as the Google reviews, but beyond the fairly convenient location in an alleyway – the check in process is convoluted. It's self-check in and responses are sporadic. The room is nicer than I expected, but as the adage goes, you get what you pay for and there's plenty of ants as other reviews mentioned. "My stay was plagued by significant maintenance and cleanliness issues. The first room I was assigned was in poor condition: the cabinets were broken, and despite having a kitchen area, there were no utensils provided at all. Most disappointing was the lack of cleanliness throughout the space. After complaining, I was moved to a second room, but the experience didn't improve. "Bathroom towels were from APA Hotel & Resort & color fated. I found insects and bug in living room and 1 of the bedroom. No slippers, no pool access (Pau ₫370K to access La Vela Saigon Hotel), both bathroom bedsheets were dirty and unhygienic to sleep. Also, I got bug bites on sofa. No laundry detergent when washing machines available. Underneath Kitchen sink super smelly and dirty. Kitchen utensils need to clean."
