"Too busy. Atrium area is like a train station. I dont like tipping in genral, but especially not for serving staff that dont make an effort - but when it is 20% already on the ticket most people dont want to make a fuss. Desk staff were quite good. Rooms were basic/functional Rooms cleaned nicely each day Weird thing with the bar/Starbucks going on. Never managed to get a starbucks because the que was too long. This is a shame because the destination fee is used as a credit for this and if you dont use it, you lose it"

"C'était un plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel très confortable. La chambre était spacieuse et les lits parfaits. Le petit coffre et le réfrigérateur dans la chambre étaient très pratiques. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, varié et copieux. Le rooftop était sympa et le personnel très gentil. Aucun souci de sécurité dans le quartier, même en rentrant à minuit après les matchs. Plusieurs fastfoods restent ouverts très tard, ce qui est pratique. Le métro est à deux pas avec les lignes 4 ou D pour rejoindre rapidement le centre de Manhattan en 30 minutes. Aucun point négatif à signaler. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel avec grand plaisir."

"The hotel was ok. Elevators took a really long time. Early check in was verbally confirmed but at arrival, it wasn’t and we had to wait 3hours but at least the bar lobby waiting area was comfortable. We called housekeeping for extra pillows (4) and they kept delivering 1, for 2 nights in a row. Lots of miscommunications from calling housekeeping to the actual order that was sent. Location was great and convenient. Overall ok stay."

"This property seems to have undergone a recent renovation. Rooms are modern, clean & decent sized, cleaned daily. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a little tricky, it's safe but right on a very busy highway, there's a target about a 10 mins walk. There's a bus stop a block away that would take you to NYC in just under 20 minutes, no pavement though, so if it's raining it could be wet & muddy. Property may pass as 3.5 star or 4 star boutique hotel in the city! Highly recommended. "

"The building and lobby were beautiful, but the room itself was a bit disappointing. Bathroom faucet was loose from its fitting, and there was very little room to store toiletries in there."

"I’ve been staying at The Lucerne for over 25 years. The location is excellent. Two minute walk to the 1 train and. 10 minute walk to Central Park. The doormen are the most welcoming, kind, and friendly. Would not stay anywhere else. "
