A good hotel for traveling

Room was ok. In need of some refurbishment. There is also the constant sound of water running in the pipes. Opposite the Train station and in an old building. An excellent location for travel around. A very good breakfast and later checkout.

We picked the hotel because of its excellent location across from the train station. At first we we highly irritated by the malfunctioning elevator and shabby entrance, but then found the rooms to be lovely, modern and clean and also enjoyed the breakfast in the breakfast area the next morning. The second impression is so much better than the first.

Of course I really appreciate the personality of the staff. Especially Aaliah taking Care of breakfast, Madi giving me all the information I need in reception and for Example Rita Riffel helps me getting Letter kuverts without window in Sunday outside. (Give me Tip where incan buy) All of 'em in a very friendly Professional Art of communication. I'll be back! 😉

Ease to transportation is amazing! Right across from the train station. The breakfasts were very good and staff was very friendly. No onsite parking. There is a parking garage 1/4 mile down the road. We had no issues with the walk and actually enjoyed them to get to the car. When you first see the building you appreciate the history. However there were people sitting and smoking on the step to get in and they didn’t move when we tried to get in with our bags. The carpet is stained in the main hall by the reception area and really set a bad first impression. However the rooms are very clean. We arrived and there is a night club on the main level that was under our room. It went until 5am. When you shut the windows it does help reduce the noise. But there is no ac. So you need to pick and choose do you want to be cool or listen to the club on the weekend. Thankful this wasn’t our first night in Germany. I can’t imagine having jet lag being up for 25 hours then not being able to sleep at all that first night. If you’re looking for a quick over mightier with access to amazing transportation this is the place. If your stay is longer then I would look for a quieter street (we enjoyed the open windows) or a place with AC.

Dirty , old,smelly hotel .in the worst part of town.nowhere to park unless you want your car broken into on the street.I refused to stay there an they would not refund my money.do yourself a favour and stay away from this place and this area.I will be filing a complaint with Expedia and with my visa .this place is grossly misseepresented.I will post a update when this is resolved.unhappy traveller .

WARNING! DON’T STAY HERE!!!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in during my more than 15 years as a business traveller. Personnel is only available late in the evening and don’t speak English, in the breakfast room there was rat poison hidden behind the window curtains, and on top of everything someone in the personnel must have stolen my TUMI accessory bag because it suddenly disappeared. When confronting them with this, no one seemed to care. Strongly advise to avoid staying here.

The entrance was strange, there are many oddly set up doors that you must squeeze through with your luggage while you try to find reception. The stairwell and hallways were dirty, with stained carpet and general updates needed. The room itself was bright with high ceilings and big windows. Would have almost made up for the bad first impression - but unfortunately it was not clean. The floors showed many visible spots and dirt, definitely in need of a mop. The bathroom was also not well cleaned and the towels were stained. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and seemed clean. However, the hotel is surrounded by very loud bars and we were subjected to extremely loud music well into the night. I slept with headphones on in order to help block out the noise. At some point in the night I awoke to guests in the hotel shouting and slamming doors. As the hotel is not staffed through the night, there was no one to report this to, and the disturbance continued for about an hour. In the morning, the cleaning staff burst into the room without knocking or saying anything, and didn’t apologise when they saw the room was still occupied. Breakfast was ok, but I lost my appetite when I had to sort through several dirty or greasy plates in order to find a clean one.

Wenn du auf Premium-Schimmel stehst, ist dieses Hotel genau das Richtige für dich! Ich kann es wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Gänge sind so dunkel, dass man sich mit dem Handy-Licht weiterhelfen muss, um das Zimmer zu finden, das ist ein richtiges Abenteuer! Ihr Lieben, bitte nutzt ja nicht den Wasserkocher, da ist auch Schimmel drin!

Bei einer vorherigen telefonischen Anfrage musste ich 5 mal anrufen, bis jemand erstmal genug deutsch verstand um mein Anliegen zu verstehen. Gelöst wurde es jedoch trotzdem nicht. Der Duschkopf war sehr stark verkalkt, der Putz im Bad ist teilweise runtergekommen. Der Flur hat sehr unangenehm gerochen. Beim Frühstück habe ich leider schimmelige Butter vom Buffet genommen.
