"The room we stayed in was well appointed with a comfortable bed and a powerful air conditioning unit. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in helping us navigate around. The hotel is in a great spot very close to the citadel, there is also a new laundromat on the same block. We only wish we had allowed ourselves more time here."

"The staff at Hotel DonJon we're the best part of the trip. They left nothing to want. Everyone was genuinely nice and had thought of everything. We arrived about 3 hours early before check-in due to the train schedule. As soon as we arrived, they took all of our bags and stored them so we could walk around the castle grounds and do whatever we wanted without worrying about our luggage. The room was nice and cool once we got in which was very welcome due to how hot it was. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. Breakfast is worth purchasing. The food and coffee are great. Upon departure, they called us a cab for the train station and again took care of all the luggage. Staying here really made it for a great time."

"Hotel needs a facelift, room was nice but over dated, breakfast was nothing special, booked hotel with a view but didn’t really enjoyed it , restaurant is mediocre and overpriced , if you’re going to spend time outside make sure you have a bug spray as there are millions of mosquitoes. Overall I would never rated this hotel as a luxury 5 stars"

"Meilleur hôtel pour visiter la cité de Carcassonne au centre de la forteresse sincère merci au voiturier, bagagistes qui ce son occuper de nos bagages et de ma conjointe en fauteuil roulant du stationnement jusqu’à l’hôtel et les réceptionniste très très sympathique qui nous ont accueilli et à notre départ mention spéciale à vos petits sacs roses très jolie moi et mon mari avons tous apprécié un vrai 5* encore merci."

"Room was satisfactory, parking was good. Shower was not powerful but did leak onto the bathroom floor easily meaning it was very wet. Smart TV in the room but I was told by a member of staff these were unable to be connected to the internet so I was unable to use any of the smart features which was disappointing."
