"Good sized room at the back of the hotel so really quiet. Super comfy bed. Shower was great, plenty of hot water. Room a bit jaded and could have done with a deep clean...but for the price it was a bargain. Great location, friendly person on reception, huge breakfast down the road. Would definitely stay again!"

"Good hotel, but check your bill carefully! The hotel itself was very good and in an excellent central location. My wife and I stayed with a group of friends after attending an event nearby, and we were perfectly happy with our stay — until breakfast the following morning. This is where things became disappointing. Our bill stated a 12.5% service charge, yet we were also charged an additional £3.50 per guest — £21 in total — even though our guests had already paid for their breakfasts separately. I find this extremely misleading. If a charge is described as 12.5%, then that is what a customer reasonably expects to be charged. Adding further charges without making them absolutely clear is, in my view, deceptive and leaves a very poor impression. It’s a shame because we genuinely liked the hotel. My advice: enjoy your stay, but check your bill very carefully before paying."
