Amazing house close to beach

Great place to stay while checking out the area

This place had everything; i've never stayed in a place more fully equipped - and, bonus, it's a king bed (not queen as listed) in the master bedroom!

Quiet comfortable spot

Great house for a long weekend with old friends. Easy access to Pescadero, beaches, and woods, with sweeping views of the ocean.

We loved the house. Had a wonderful time. Fully stocked with everything you need, would recommend a brace in shower. Also a cleaning on floors and baseboards. We loved the owner. Would stay there again.

Pescadero Get Away

We had a wonderful time here and was very comfortable. The view is beautiful and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Grandkids had a great time with all the toys/games and outside in the front facing the ocean. Loved our mini vacay.

Pescadero near the ocean

We enjoyed our stay of one week at Stephen’s cottage.This cottage had everything. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, comfortable layout. Short walk to the shoreline.

Wonderful cottage near the ocean

This cottage is super clean and comfortable. I was there with my parents and my dog and could not have been happier to see the sunsets from the deck and cooks some meals in the well equipped kitchen. And the space for my pup to run around was also a huge plus! Will hopefully be back!

Everything We Needed

This place was perfect for us. We had friends from the area meet us for 2 days one couple and 2 days the other. Across the highway from the ocean. Duartes is our favorite restaurant. Steve, the owner was great. We will do this again

Quiet Comfort

While visiting Pescadero for a family reunion nearby, we felt no need to rush our quiet coffee mornings from the backyard with the gentle crash of waves from the nearby coastline. The house had everything we needed and more. Steve was a great host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage with a view that cannot be beat

This was our 2nd time staying at Steve's cottage. The sunsets that you can see from the dining room table is just incredible. At night, you can hear the sound of the waves crashing just across the field. The cottage had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home. Definitely recommend this place for small families.

Perfect escape!

Cottage has everything you need to be comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of blankets and pillows. Fenced yard for pets. Owner is a delight!

Great time with family

The place and location was great. The place is very well kept, and had everything we needed in regards to cooking etc. The only drawback for us traveling with dogs is that the beaches in close walking distance all do not allow dogs; however, there is one a short car ride away. It was great to have a fully fenced in yard to be able to have the dogs outside when being outside and give them some room to roam around.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Pescadero for the 3 nights we were able to get away from the mountains. The setting was peaceful and the view of the Pacific was refreshing after enduring a harsh mountain winter. The description of the home and the area was accurate and there were no surprises. It was especially wonderful to be able to bring our pup and let him roam the fenced yard. Supplies were plentiful and a family could easily relax here for a week or longer!

The Perfect Getaway

This cottage was perfect for two couples escaping the heat! We loved cooking together in the big kitchen and watching the sunset from the dining table. We enjoyed lounging on the patio, and had a fun late afternoon walk to the beach. Another day we hiked through Pescadero marsh to the beach and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Duarte's. As others have said, Steve is an excellent host and not one thing was mising from this lovely home.

Awesome Cottage with beautiful sunsets!

This was absolutely the perfect little cottage for myself and four other members of my family. We all loved it. Short walk to the beach and wetlands. Short drive to Pescadero and Half Moon Bay. It was spotless, well appointed, great fenced in yard for our fur babies and the beds were very comfy. Host communicated with me every step of the way. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. Big shout out and thank to our host!

Relaxing, Comfortable, and an Ocean View!

We had an amazing time! The location couldn't be better - an ocean view, close to the cute little town of Pescadero, and just a short drive to the redwoods. The home was a cozy, comfortable space to enjoy our time together, with tons of movies to choose from, lots of puzzles, and a big table to play games on. The kids loved seeing the little bunnies hop by, and the owner is so nice! Great time! We'll definitely be back! :)

Lovely cottage for a quiet getaway

We had a lovely time flying kites at Pescadero beach and cooking delicious food at Steve's place. No need to pack any kitchen supplies for this stay, as the cottage kitchen was better stocked than ours at home!

Beautiful House and Location

Steve was a wonderful host and my family and I enjoyed our visit so much. The location was perfect, the house was clean, spacious, well stocked, and peaceful. My son enjoyed running around in the fenced in front yard and watching the wildlife (bunnies, birds, and chickens). Would definitely recommend staying here and can't wait to come back.

Ocean View away from the city, but close to many spots to sightsee

Beautiful property in a peaceful location. Great view of the ocean. We travel with our 3 adult sons, so there's 5 of us. We had a great time either relaxing at "home" for the evening, or out sightseeing for the day. You cam easily drive up to San Francisco or down to Santa Cruz for sight seeing. It was easy to relax at the property at the end of the day, being out of the city and enjoying the ocean air. Owner was very personable and available if we needed anything. One of the cleanest vrbo's we've stayed in with some of the best kitchen setups to cook several meals there while away. Home away from home.
