"Basic but perfect for the outdoorsy area. Clean. Walkable to good restaurants and coffee shops, bike trail, Visitor center. Pricey for what you get and for such a remote area but serves the purpose. "

"It is a classic, historical structure. The outdoor deck is a great place to watch sunset while gathering with other guests. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi / hot tub. I enjoyed walking through the lobby area reading about the history of the Hotel, very interesting. The room was very comfortable. I would have given a 5 star except for the bathroom vanity. We had a unit with a pedestal sink. I believe they keep these sinks to enhance the historical feel but in today's world people need counter space to place toiletries, especially women. As a developer our bath had plenty of room for a 36 (or larger) vanity. This along with a few more hooks in the bath for wet towels etc... would have made the stay so much more enjoyable. I write this review more for Summit Management than for the consumer. They do so many things great, please correct this. Also, to the general public, do not let this cause you not to stay there. It's a beautiful place and please go and enjoy."

"Danielle and the entire staff were amazing. From early check in without an extra charge to giving extra towels they went above and beyond. The breakfast is really great and such a money saver, especially in this economy. You should give the staff, especially Danielle, a raise."

"This stay was delightful! So many fabulous touches. We truly felt like we were in a tree house. The view of trees and gnomes! The hot tub was great. I hope to get a chance to com we back. Thank you for everything."
