"The location was great. The staff was great. She worked a lot of hours and was always very pleasant The Property was clean. The hot tub could have been hotter and the pool warmer but not bad enough that we didn’t use it. Overall I would definitely go back for a revisit."

"The location is fantastic, very walkable to lots of shops and restaurants in Sturgeon Bay! It’s a short drive to great hiking in Potawatomi State Park. The unit we stayed in was gorgeous, with a sunken tub, gas fireplace, and nicely sized balcony with a spectacular view! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Absolutely — here’s a warm, enthusiastic Vrbo review that highlights the family celebration, the home, and the wonderful host:We had the most incredible 2-night family getaway celebrating our dad’s 83rd birthday, and this house was absolutely perfect for our big extended family!The house truly has everything you could possibly need for a fun, comfortable, and memorable stay. It was exceptionally clean, organized, and thoughtfully stocked with so many amenities for both kids and adults. With 5 boys and 1 girl in our group, the outdoor space and pool were an absolute dream! The kids had so much to keep them entertained, while the adults were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful space as well.Our host was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We especially appreciated the thoughtful note letting us know that the house was ready an hour earlier than the regular check-in time — such a kind touch and a great way to start our stay!We made so many wonderful family memories here, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate such a special milestone. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Highly recommend this home for families and larger groups looking for a beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and welcoming place to stay.If you’d like, I can also make it more raving and personal, with a little more “WOW, this place was amazing!” energy. "I wasn’t sure what to expect but it blew me away. This place was very well maintained and clean. Having a door out the back with a small patio was perfect for our little family. The room was spacious and even had a little table and chairs. There is also an adorable coffee shop right across the road. Definitely staying here again."

"The best thing about our cozy cottage was its simple, thoughtful charm. Every item in the small space seemed carefully chosen to provide function without taking up unnecessary room. It felt like staying at a lovely little camp—surrounded by nature and reached by a gravel road—but with all the conveniences that made it comfortable and relaxing. At first, we were concerned when we learned there was no air conditioning, but that turned out not to be a problem at all. The beautiful cool air coming off Lake Michigan kept the cottage comfortable and added to the authentic lakeside experience. There really wasn’t a “worst” part for us. Everything was just fine—efficient, unfussy, peaceful, and nicely thought out. This is not meant to be the Ritz-Carlton; it is something more personal: a quaint little family nook filled with the sounds of nature. It gave us a memorable Door County experience that we will never forget."

"We had a great time celebrating our mom and Nana. From communication before we got there to help needed when we were there, they were always quick to respond. We had great sleeping spacce and enjoyed eating and grilling by the lake. We spent time hiking the beach, kayaking, and even some Pickleball. It was a perfect setting to enter Door county and then return in the evening for a bonfire and listening to the waves. It was also fun to paint the rocks and put them by the fireplace. The kids could stay up late playing in the basement while us older enjoyed the quiet upstairs. Great place for pictures and memories made."
