"Located next to the beach and town. Great if you don’t want to use the car but also a great location to explore further afield with the car. Property well equipped and had everything required for a great stay. "

"The property is in a lovely location but would benefit from a little TLC, we found it somewhat musty. But it was ok for the price, and the owner was great with communication and left us a nice welcome gift."

"Views of the water are wonderful and it's a nice central location for visiting the local shops, restaurants and beaches. It is well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy a nice week long stay. Hosts are lovely and went above and beyond for us. We hope to return!"

"Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers."

"A beautiful property, fantastic location and great amenities. There was only one thing we were not happy about and that was the mattress on the smaller doubled bed, this really needs replacing, my daughter and son in-law found it to be very uncomfortable feeling all the springs and the bed frame. They did not get much sleep because of this."

"A very comfortable, well appointed place to stay with wonderful views of the river. Wadebridge is a perfect place to be able to get to many places around the county and a bonus is a bus stop right outside the apartment!"

"The only criticism I have was the cove restaurant was over priced and the service was slow and we asked for a dessert menu and waited about 45 minutes other people with babies were serviced before us we felt ignored by the staff and then to add service charge of £8.10 was a really bad when there really was no service at all
My husband and I were on the 2nd floor and he couldn’t manage all the steps so they did move us to the 1st floor however our room was tiny but I couldn’t ask them to move us again so we stuck with it but would have preferred a bigger room when your paying £150 a night the swimming pool was lovely I think when you have teenagers maybe they need to have things for them to do to like mocktail making or movies for teens or arts and crafts for them etc"
"The hotel was pretty good in general.
Room was fine: very clean. Slightly old-school grandparent vibe instead of funky Newquay surfer vibe, and some of the fittings were slightly run down if you looked closely, but that's being really critical.
Breakfast was excellent with unusually good veggie choices.
Staff were helpful.
The beach location was dramatic.
It was quite pricey but I suppose that's the cost when staying in Newquay last minute during school holidays."
"This was a return visit after discovering this hotel last year. Once again we had a fabulous stay.
The resort is simply lovely, as are all the staff.
I cant recommend staying here highly enough.
The only slight negative i would stay is the gardens walk from the beach can be a little demanding if you have had a long day on tbe beach, however plenty of benches to take a rest if needed.
Book now, you won't regret it !"
"Lovely hotel right on the sea front, staff very welcoming, knowledgeable, food lovely reasonable price. I had a lovely large room had everything I needed"
"Some hotels give you a room. St Michaels Resort gives you a memory.
My partner and I spent three wonderful nights here, and St Michaels became more than simply the place where we stayed...it became part of our Falmouth story.
There is something special about the atmosphere: beautiful, peaceful and effortlessly welcoming. Everything came together to make our stay feel genuinely memorable, and we left with that rare feeling of wishing we could remain a little longer.
I even bought a few pieces of St Michaels merchandise because I wanted to take a small part of the experience home with me. That probably says more than any ordinary five-star review could.
Falmouth gave us the scenery, but St Michaels gave the trip its heart. Thank you for hosting a chapter of our lives that we will always remember. We arrived as guests, left as admirers, and will certainly return.
Samuel"
