They tried to charge us an extra €20/night to put the sofa bed out even though it was never written anywhere so unfortunately this ruined our stay. You can tell there’s 1 greedy rich person at the top who doesn’t care about the customers."

"We loved our stay!! Host sent us a list of recommendations a few weeks before our travel. It gave us time to review and plan. Location is incredible. Steps from the beautiful black sand beach and a stretch of bars and restaurants who provide free beach chairs and umbrellas with consumption. Bus was around the corner and hits all the major stops (Fira, Oia, Pygros, Akrotiri) and is 2.50 Euro pp each way (make sure you have cash!) Easy to get around. Taxis - not so much- need to be scheduled and he arranged our airport pick up and drop off which was a huge help. The home was tidied up each day and was immaculate. The only thing we missed was having a streaming service available to relax and watch in the evenings after full days of site seeing. ATMs are everywhere but have high fees so be sure to bring Euros with you. Also ‘Aqua’ was an excellent restaurant steps away from the home. Pyrgos Restaurant was excellent as well (probably our best meal)."

"Great location. Staff in reception, bar & breakfast were very helpful & friendly. Economy room was set below ground level, so no view of any sort. However, room was fine. Hot food at breakfast was lukewarm at best. Fruit choice consisted of tinned peach slices, apples and oranges in a basket. There was water melon for first few days but this then stopped. Evening meals - food was good with varied options (we were half board). Hotel was smart & well maintained with nice pool. Good value for money overall. Special mentions must go to John in reception & Nick at the bar who were both excellent: very happy, friendly & helpful."

"Beautiful hotel and staff very accommodating. I feel like guest should at least be able to get coffee before 8am. Coffee in the room is not good. Need to upgrade the hair dryers in the rooms. They do not have much power at all for blow drying. Also, should not have to call and ask for iron every time you need to uron clothes and then return. I was told for safety! All irons now have automatic shutoffs!!'"
