Last minute booking as in the area for work. Swift check in, rooms and communal areas were ok if a little tired but clean. Breakfast staff were a delight and a decent morning meal to set me up for the day. Parking is limited but there are spaces on road.

I arrived to find really loud karaoke happening outside, which the friendly guy who came out of the bar to check me in apologised for. The room I had ( rear facing) is very very tired, with a lamp above the bed falling off the wall, a bathroom floor that almost bounces, poor ventilation and no opening window in the bathroom, a shower tray that gives and squeaks when you stand in it and a lumpy mattress that has clearly seen better days. To sum up I had a poor nights sleep in an uncomfortable bed in a tired hotel. It’s a shame as the location is great and the staff were friendly enough. But I wouldn’t recommend it or stay again.

Large clean side of building room view of the road . Old building so has a sloping floor . Breakfast was okay a help yourself type . Bed was comfortabe enough. It was suitable for my one night stay at an average price for the time of year.

The staff were very friendly and the room was diligently cleaned every day. The inclusivity of an early breakfast was usful as public transport in Cornwall means I often had to get up early and having food ready was incredibly helpful.

Some of the staff were friendly.. others ignored us!. The whole place needs a revamp..everywhere really tired and dated. Lights in the corridors flickering and carpet worn. Although our room was clean and smelt clean on arrival. We could smell smoke in the corridors. A sign in the bedroom saying hang towels if not needed to be changed.. not a single hook in the room or bathroom!. Awful plastic soap dispensers in the bathroom. An evening meal was good, good portions and hot. Breakfast was a real disappointment. Cereals in huge plastic containers...juice cartons on the side. No pastries or fresh fruit the only option tinned prunes and grapefruit. The cooked food again was hot. No choice of teas.. builders or nothing!. Although we had a good 3 nights on Penzance it wasn't due to the Luggers Inn. I would not recommend staying here.
