"Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone."

"Love this semi-private cottage! We had a great time utilizing the hot tub after long days of hiking. It’s so close to DuPont State Park for all the waterfalls. Very quiet hidden area that was absolutely peaceful. Quick drive into Brevard."

"How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

"We had the most wonderful stay at this property. Our dog enjoyed the yard, we enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to Brevard, Hendersonville and DuPont national park. If there is anything negative to say about the property it would be the lack of blinds in all the rooms and the bed was pretty hard. It wasn’t enough to make us not want to stay again. The place was super clean and had everything that we would need."
