"Everything was lovely from the room , the lovely extras ( shortbread biscuits , lovely bathroom products) the bed was really comfortable. The staff were great and the breakfast was excellent. We also charged the car overnight , which was really convenient."

"We love this property for it's fantastic location and proximity to loads of scenic walks.It's important to be dog friendly and the garden and adjoining wood are perfect as you are immersed by nature and it's so peaceful.Local pubs and a great farm shop nearby all add to the experience.The cottage is well equipped and cosy."

"We were thankful we could book this stay after 6pm online and get into our room soon after I did have a similar experience as another reviewer who said the manager had a card machine promt for me to pay I told him we had payed via hotels.com and after checking he apologized I asked to borrow an iron and was told they don't have one as they were new owners/managers So take your own if you can Nice pint and open fire in there It seems most punters know one another well and we did feel a little out of ace but it wasn't a problem really The room was small and we did have issue with old water system making a horrendous noise every time the toilet flushes (and in the next room) I would stay again if caught short but otherwise I'd probably stay elsewhere Sorry"
